About the Owners

John Kline graduated high school in 1993, and immediately went to work in construction as a carpenter. Always good with his hands, he has found a love in art. An avid drawer in high school, he won many competitions throughout school. After suffering from a construction accident in 2000, he decided to follow his passion of art and design. He partnered with his sister to open this store. Not knowing much about the jewelry business at first he has been an enthusiastic learner and has absorbed the knowledge like a sponge. His flair for design shines through in his amazing hand beaded necklaces. Using sterling silver wire he creates remarkable works of art that are completely wearable. His necklace and earring sets have been loved by all that see them, and he is constantly creating new pieces to add to his collection. He has also recently taken up some of the repair work, helping out his sister as much as possible.

Jen Kline graduated high school in 1991 and entered the University of Akron as an Athletic Training major. Always having had a love of sports and medicine this was a perfect future for her, until she took an elective art class, Metalsmithing. After that first class she changed majors and the course of her life. Falling in love with working with metal and the design and fabrication of jewelry, she worked at local jewelers paying her way through college. After graduating in 2000 she went on to work as a jeweler in Hudson, Ohio. She then proceeded to work with the Summit County Sheriff's Office as a civilian employee, where she continues to work at this time. With her brother John they opened the store for business in 2006. Still working full-time for the sheriff's office she relies on John for the day to day operation of the store. Yet she still finds time to meet with customers and complete as much of the repair work as possible. Her own designs can range forma a whimsical cat pin to a hand painted enamel necklaces, and silhouetted sports figures.
